AMERICANISM ESSAY WINNERS
We are pleased to announce 3 winners from Annunciata in the American Legion Americanism Essay Contest. First place is Aaron Zaragoza; second place is George Mitchell; third place is John Rivera. Aaron’s essay will go on to the Third District for further competition. Good Luck Aaron! CONGRATULATIONS to all of you! Annunciata is proud of you!
SUPER BINGO—MANY THANKS FOR A GREAT JOB!
Thanks to the hard work of all those involved, the March Super Bingo was an overwhelming success. To the Super Bingo Team, the entire bingo committee and to all the Bingo workers, we cannot thank you enough for all you do for our school. Last BUT not least, a huge “thank you” to all of you who came to play. The coordinated efforts of everyone made the whole day terrific. The entire profit of $5,500.00 will benefit the school. The school appreciates all the support.
UNIFORMS
Ordinarily, dress uniform walking shorts are not allowed until May 1st. However, with the unpredictable warm weather that we have been experiencing recently, the dress uniform walking shorts will be allowed beginning April 16th. Children should dress according to the weather since they will be going outdoors for recess.
NOTE: The only acceptable walking shorts are uniform dress shorts as sold through the Dennis Uniform Company. Children wearing non-uniform shorts will be considered out of uniform.
Please review the uniform policy as you received it earlier this school year.
REPORT CARDS
Report cards for the third quarter for grades K through 8 will be distributed on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
F.Y.I. – ANY OUTSTANDING MONEY DUE TO THE SCHOOL THAT IS PAID AFTER MAY 15TH MUST BE MONEY ORDER OR CASH!
EASTER/SPRING VACATION
We will be out of school from Thursday, April 5th, through the week of April 9th. Classes will resume on April 16th.
